At the nostalgic 50’s Prime Time Café, where Disney’s Hollywood Studios guests are reminded to clean their plates and keep their elbows off the table, one unique menu item has been as much a restaurant fixture as Lucy reruns. For guests it’s a trip down memory lane at the end of a straw – only the old peanut butter and jelly sandwiches mom made were never this yummy. It all happened quite by accident, recalled one member of the food and beverage team that launched 50’s Prime Time with the opening of the park in 1989. PB&J anchors a line of shakes that includes pumpkin spice for Halloween, peppermint for the holidays and tried-and-true vanilla, chocolate and strawberry.
